A Twill tape is flat woven ribbon, much like Peter sham but with a distinctive herringbone weave, it is used to stabilize seams, for bag handles, as a drawstring, binding and as decorative tape. Twill tape is also used to tie back curtains, cables and various other objects. In the manufacture of clothing twill tape is often used as decorative edging or binding.
